We are planning a trip for next April and I would like to get your comments and suggestions. Six of us are returning on the tenth aniversary of our first trip. We received great info and help from all of you on our first trip. We will be flying into STT on Thursday (arrive 3:45 PM). Our plan is to spend the night at Emerald Beach or Lindberg Bay and then take an early ferry to Tortola. Looking for a hotel on Tortola, maybe Maria’s by the Sea, but open to suggestions. We are going to MaarineMax on Saturday for 7 days.

Here are my other question. I am not sure which ferry we should take. CA to West End, CA to Road Town, Red Hook to West End or Red Hook to Road Town. We will be doing this on Friday and I did not know if Road Town C&I would be OK. Thanks in advance for your help.

I would take the 8:30am or 12 noon Road Town Fast Ferry from CA direct to Road Town.

We stayed at Tamarind Club for a night before charter. Cannot say enough good words about it. Will definitely be back there next trip. Marine Max is very close to Tamarind. Less than 10 min taxi.

We have always stayed at Fort Burt but the last time we stayed there will be the last time we stay there - ever. Reservations at Maria's this time. There are some negative comments on Trip Advisor but nothing egregious. I think (hope) it will be a good choice.

Maria's is fine.
Overpriced for one night, but clean, large rooms. Ours had a refrig where we stored a handful of steaks we brought for the next night. (Kept em frozen)

I would take the first ferry out of CA to West End and stay in Cane Garden Bay for the night. We stay at Rhymers, nothing fancy, but clean and inexpensive.

Since it is a Friday night, you can go to the Elm for BBQ and listen to the Elmtones, if your lucky you will catch Quito and the Edge (he plays every other Friday night) after the Elm.

Love sitting up on the patio at Rhymers listening to the Elmtones and or Quito play.
