Woke up around 8 and took the short walk down to Yellow Sub for an omelette and croissant. I got the cheese omelette and thought it was a little overcooked, wifey got the mushroom/swiss and really liked hers.
Beach day at Bikini on Orient, split chicken sandwich and fries for lunch. Not that crowded but really thinned out around 4:30 when we left to get cleaned up for supper.
Headed to El Dente just up the road from Orient. Kind of nice not that far away. We passed it on the first day and didn't think it had much curb appeal and almost didn't go. That would've been a mistake. Pulled into the parking lot walked in and was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was inside. Kind of small but looks so different from the outside. Whenever I see chicken parmesan on the menu, no need to look further, so my decision was easy. Dana FINALLY chose Gnocchi with gorganzola sauce. Ordered our drinks and if you order mixed drinks such as cranberry and vodka like Dana did they bring out the vodka and cranberry separate and then you kind of mix your own. Liked that idea except for our waitress dropped our drinks onto the table and into my wife's lap. Of course she was wearing white shorts. Not a biggy accidents happen. They apologized profusely and said the 1st drinks were on the house. Got our first/second round with no mishaps. haha The food more than made up for the mishap. I mentioned that I always get chicken parmesan, this was probably the best I ever had. Lots of cheese, pan fried, just how I like it. Huge piece that when if was brought out I thought there was no way I could eat it all, I was wrong. Did get a box for the spaghetti and gnocchi to eat for lunch sometime at the villa.
Jumped in the pool to cool off and then hit the sack.

That's funny! We had the same experience with Al Denta, as far as the curb appeal, and we love the chicken parm! The Lasagna Bolognese is amazing also. The male waiter, i can't recall his name, is excellent. We go there at least twice a visit. Sounds like great trip so far and keep the reports coming! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/dine.gif" alt="" />

Haven't been there, but all I've heard has been good!

Thanks for the report. I, too, like Al Dente.
