Wanted to post that we had dinner at Sublime at the Summit last night and very much enjoyed it. Happy hour was from 4 to 6 (buy one get one free) and our dinner was very good. I had the Sublime chicken curry and asked for it med. hot. It came out just perfectly for me and my husband liked it also. He had the chicken skewers with peanut sauce and said they were delicious. They have a good variety of things on their menu and it is reasonably priced. Service both at the bar for happy hour and later seated for dinner was friendly and efficient. We are definitely planning to return.

We were there night before last and I also had the curry, medium, but mine was lamb. We've dined there 3 or 4 times now and enjoyed every bite. And the prices are hard to beat. A great addition to the burgeoning food scene in Cupecoy.

Not familiar with the Summit or Cupecoy. Where do you park? The restaurant sounds good.

Summit has a parking area just before you enter the property. Park there and walk down the sidewalk and stairs to the restaurant. Can't wait to try it myself.

For those who have eaten dinner there already, are they in any way able to incorporate the pool deck view into their restaurant setting? I've been trying to imagine how they might but my memory says probably not and that's too bad. It's so beautiful looking out over the water there. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" />

Actually Pat, the parking is on the property. You must pass the security barrier arm gate. Just tell the very friendly security guard you are going to the restaurant and he will let you in. Lots of parking but a bit of a convoluted walk to the pool deck where the restaurant is. And yes, there is a nice view from the restaurant seating area. Bet you could even get them to move a table to the other side of the pool! Pictures and I think menu here

Sorry about the misleading directions, Elaine. I guess I should have said the parking area is just before the main body of the Summit but still part of it.

We've always loved the location all the way back to our earliest visits to the island. American Airlines used to feature The Summit as one of their more modest vacation packages back then. We never got around to staying there back in the day and then we bought our timeshare and well, the rest is history.

Many a breakfast enjoyed there over the years primarily because of that incredible view along with sundowners back when. Having read nothing but great reviews I can't wait to try the new restaurant next trip. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Joy.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Joy.gif" alt="" />
