Leaving Simpson Bay to move to Divi Resort. Any supermarkets close to Divi or do we need to come back to Simpson Bay Area? Thanks! PS I liked Carrefour the second time around. We were able to get nice fresh bread that was still hot. Yum!

Le Grand Marche on Bush Road at the traffic circle is on the way to Divi, about a 10 minute drive from the resort +/- is a large supermarket - also small mart on site at the resort for a quick few items.

From Divi drive by Sonesta Great Bay. Just at the start of Front Street turn left. Past Casino to traffic light then on about 1/4 mile on right is Sunny Market.
Closer to Divi than Grand Marche if you're at Divi. But driving from Simpson Bay TO Divi G.Marche would be on the way. Would not recommend buying perishables prior to check-in at Divi because sometimes it's a long wait.
There is a market at Divi but limited and a bit more than other markets. Milk, coffee eggs, butter, pasta, pasta sauce, can goods, ice cream booze, bread. Actually, you can go online at Divi Little Bay and place an order before you arrive. That will give you price sand the beer should be cold in the fridge for you.

You are welcome. If they still have it try the Thursday evening all you can eat BBQ down by the beach with live island show...was always fun in years past...hope it is still the same...take a stroll up to Ft. Amsterdam, using care of course, great views of the harbor and cruise ships, check out the small pool at the top of the hill near the last building...walk into town during the day...enjoy your stay. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/dine.gif" alt="" />

We stay at the Belair, next door to Divi, but every morning I would stroll up to Divi and get fresh French bread and really great pastries. You have to go early because the pastries go quickly. Lisa

Divi Dining Lisa is referring to Bayview Café for those fresh pastries that do go fast in the early morning.
