Made a reservation thru Hertz SXM a couple months ago. Now I found a better rate online. I emailed Hertz sxm asking for a new rate and they haven't gotten back to me. If I book it on Hertz.com will they honor that rate?

I would cancel your original reservation and then book the better rate.

Yep...book the better rate first then cancel the prior one. I do that all the time in the USA

I can't call hertz sxm to cancel because I don't have long distance. They are not responding to my emails in sxm. I booked the better rate thru hertz.com but will that rate still include the liability? I know hertzsxm includes it in their rate. I assume it's the same rules right?

Oh good. Not sure why they are ignoring my emails. When I emailed them to upgrade the car they replied right away. Hmmm

Could be an internet problem. Check your spam folder. Sometimes st maarten emails end up there.
