There are quite a few. My favorite is la Sucriere in Simpson Bay

It's really hard to find a French Bakery that isn't great!

The bakery in grand case is good but not thrilling. Yes we think sarafinas is best too. Was hoping to find one closer to us! I have a french pastry snob to try to impress. 😬 Any more favorites? Ty!

If you want the best croissants and full breakfast visit La Croissanterie in Marina Port La Royale, Marigot - fresh hot croissants backed on site all day. Also serves lunch.

We like Cafe Atlantico in Simpson bay. Especially for grabbing some sandwiches for the cooler. And their quiche is amazing! However, La Croissanterie has the best brioche! Now I want croissants!

We were moseying around the Market and stopped in purely because of name recognition and left thinking "I wish I'd stopped at one of the smaller, more rustic places around.' It was fine but not devastating. That said, both Zee Best and Bon Appetit both did-they left my tongue curling over buttery flavor.

We love Sarafina's. There is also a nice small bakery on the way to Marigot from Grand Case. I don't remember the name, but it is on the right side as you go down a hill. Also, in Orient Village, there's a bakery at the place they sell the rotisserie chicken & potatoes, and Good Morning has a small selection, too.

Sarafina's has delicious baguette sandwiches. At $5 US, they make for a yummy and inexpensive beach lunch! Even better is that they are big enough for us to split 1!!! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Clapping.gif" alt="" />

Market Garden has the baguettes sandwiches for $2.50. Great for the beach.

Market Garden is on the corner of Billy Folly Road--where you turn to go to Simpson Bay Resort, Flamingo, LaVista, etc. In general, prices at Market Garden are higher than places like Grand Marche, Super U, etc., but it is convenient for those staying in that area.

Le Divin in Marigot tops in my books. Use to go to Sarafina's but they reno'd and lost it's appeal. And Maho Market has baguette sandwiches...$2.50 (ham and cheese, tuna, salami, cheese)
