Getting ready for 2nd trip on a Moorings 4000 cat. Biggest issue my wife had last year was the hard mattress. Any tips/tricks? Can we get a hold of an egg crate topper in BVI somehow?

Slightly different approach but we slept much better when we brought down our own pillows.

We had the same issue, but this year we brought inflatable camping pads to put under the sheets and it made a huge difference. Also made the overnights at SJU less painful.

I find more rum always works well <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/toast.gif" alt="" />

This is a tried and true solution. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/toast.gif" alt="" />

I think each boat is different. We have found some of the boats to have a egg crate foam on them. Depends on the boat.

I agree that more rum/vodka/bushwackers, etc. really helps. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Yikes.gif" alt="" />

I just posted on the BVI Community Board to see if anyone knew if you could get an egg crate topper in town. Will see if I get a reply and pass it on. Or you can join the BVI Community Board and follow the thread.

first reply off the BVI Board re where to purchase egg crate toppers:

Bargain Centre on Main St, between Creques and the cemetery.

Will continue to post as the replies come in.

Apparently they have 2 stores. The one that sells furniture is the right one.
