It has been way to long since part three of this report and my only excuse is simply "life". We are in the process of finalizing an August BVI charter and that has motivated me to get back in the writing saddle, I'll keep the banter to a minimum and load up the photos. When last we chatted our crew of 6 BVI bound adventurers were moored off Terre de Haut, Les Saintes. All I can say is that the Les Saintes should be on everyones bucket list! The weather was dead calm, no breeze, hot actually... truthfully it was uncomfortably hot sleeping on s/v No Regrets. If not for the beauty that surrounded us and the cool Caribbean waters to jump in, it would have been...less than perfect. Cold beer also helped keep our attitudes adjusted properly! After an amazing 2 day stop at Les Saintes we began our long overnight passage to St Kitts, but first we had to cruise back to Marina de Riviere Sens in Basse Terre, Guadeloupe to return their converter and fuel up. The overnight passage was uneventful, except for a large tanker we had to avoid and could not raise on the radio! I cannot remember the name of the St Kitt's marina we took a slip in (Matrix help!) but it provided the power we needed to finally enjoy the comforts of a/c! St Kitts was a good time, good food, cheap beer and perhaps the a/c had something to do with it? After refueling, topping off the water and grabbing ice at the marina we bid farewell to St Kitts. As we sailed passed her quiet shores a beautiful rainbow developed and it appeared to be pointing us in the direction of our final destination, the British Virgin Islands!!!! Ah... you really have me wanting to plan our next trip now Love the pictures! We really have to go back to Les Saints at some point! Perhaps with a generator installed on the boat.
