Are all the studios different at Club O? I know they don't promise a specific unit, but are there some units more updated than others? Interested only in the studios, not the chalets. TIA!

Yes, some are definitely more updated than others. I've heard that 17 and 18 are nice, 25 is pretty nice and the new owners of 26 showed us their remodel work in February and it is beautiful! I would imagine there are others, maybe someone else will reply with more information.

My best suggestion is that you contact Jim Ruos, at Caribbean Islands Travel Service, on the TTOL sponsor list. Jim knows all the units there, and, as important, could give you a leg up (although there are no guarantees!!!) about getting an upgraded unit. AND best of all, there is NO additional charge to you, to book through Jim, versus the resort. It's a no brainer!!

Did Jim give you any hints on upgrades or which studios were the best? Unfortunately, We weren't aware of Jim's services and booked directly through Club O for August.

We booked through Jim and he just said "some are better than others". He wouldn't go any further than that.

Carol, Jim's Caribbean Island Travel site claims that TTOL members can request specific units, but Club O says you can request, but good luck. Would you or anyone know if Jim has any more pull in that area?
