The first of May saw a lot of rain on the island and created a new texture to the dirt/ gravel portion of the road into CO. The road is as rough as I have seen in years, maybe even approaching the old toad condition. Has any one heard of any rumors on extending the pavement to the beach.

You would think with all the money spent reworking all the buildings and parking on the beach that the French government would like to make a good impression in lieu of the body jarring experience of the trek on the rough road.

Any forum that we can post on that the French may se and consider?

even before the rain in May the road was horrible. In March it was worse than i think it was back years ago. We kept on coming and going through the village to avoid it.
