Will be on island June 19-26. Are there a lot of restaurants that will be closed at that time ??

Probably not. Most closings are in the Sept. to early Oct range.

Most shops will be closed on Thursday the 25th. Plus no cruise ships scheduled in port.

Why June 25th? There is no public holiday on that day.

Thursday, the 25th of May, Ascension Day is a holiday, but not Sunday, June 25th.

I was aware of that, but the OP was wondering about dates in June. The only public holiday I am aware of in June is June 4, Whit Sunday.
