Any idea how the other beaches on the island are? We arrive next Saturday and really hope we don't have to deal with this

We're literally 'just back' last night. Spent most of our beach time between Mullet and Simpson Bay Beach although we did make it out to Anse Marcel one day of our stay. We experienced virtually no seaweed in our travels the entire three weeks we were there but as you can see, we limited our beaching.
Good luck and I hope your trip is a good one.

pat

I wondered the same thing and have to admit, I'm totally unfamiliar with any beaches there. Would the area where the tank farm and the relatively new development there be considered Kole Bay? And see - there really is always something else to learn. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" />

Thank you, Lesley. That's the area I was thinking of but the name didn't seem right to me and I guess you've explained why. John took the girls riding there years ago. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" />
