Folks, finishing up provisioning order for our upcoming bareboat. The rookies asked where we could resupply booze along the way...
***que: deer in the headlights look from the Captain***
Any convenient places to grab critical provisions while out? (critical = Rum...not so critical = vodka, whiskey, cold beer)
Of course we will try to over provision upon initial order/delivery before departure, but just in case...
We'll be out 9 days on a Voyage 480. Usual stops, CGB, Jost, Norman, Leverick, Anegada, Trellis, etc.
Cheers,
EC
Q: What do you do all day when down island?...
A: I don't really know, but it takes all day to do it...

El Captain: Definitely Leverick. Others likely too, some at more of a premium.

SailOrion, great site, thanks for sharing!
Appreciate the additional feedback. It has been a long time (read 9 years) since we have chartered in the BVIs. Did some other charters (Sea of Cortez, Exumas, Venezuela) and a lot of island time on Eleuthera, so looking forward to returning. I am sure a great deal has changed!
Thanks Again,
EC

There are at least 3 places to re-provision booze in CGB. There is a store on the beach next to Quito's, Bobby "grocery" store on the street, and Rose's store next to Columbus Sunset Apartments.

A 4th place in CGB would be Rhymer's, they have a small grocery behind the restaurant.

I checked out the map - Yacht Harobur on VG doesn't have a grocery store (booze emporium) at the moment but you can get a taxi to Bucks and Road town wholesale or to Rosy's easily.
