I am looking at CAT through boatbureau the The boat is in Marina Port Royal in Marigot, on the French part of the island. Any experience with going out of this location or with this company? I have never sailed st martin but have sailed bvi many times. We are looking for a CAT. I have read posts about going out a marina that you have to wait for a bridge. Is it better than the above location. Please give me all advice. It's my 1st st martin trip and it's my 50th bday trip.

Port Royal is an enclosed quay style marina. Super protected but yes, you will have to take either the Sandy Ground bridge or the Simpson Bay Bridge, along with passing beneath the causeway bridge.

yes, the Sandy Ground bridge opens goes to Marigot from Simpson Bay. There are some depths concerns, so watch your charts
