Staying at Orient Village in July for 18 days. Actually arriving 3 days before wifey and was told to prepare for her presence. Two years ago we went to Simply in Hope Estate every day on way to beach. Since it's closed, is there another option nearby for snacks and ice? Also, is there anywhere on the island that sells Michelob Ultra? Wifey is a snob and doesn't want to drink anything else.

Don't have any idea on Michelob Ultra. With regard to groceries in the Village, Petite Casino has a nice selection of things, right there in the middle of the Village. There is another grocery there in Hope Estate, but I guess it is not very well stocked?? I really don't know, as I have never been there. But if you just need snacks, etc., Petite Casino probably should suffice. Otherwise, the closest large grocery store is Super U in Marigot. GREAT store, so long as you don't need American products, like snacks.

There's a couple markets in the village, they're not real big but carry most everything you need. Not sure about them carrying Michelob ultra. There's Petit Casino and Ocean Star Market. Petit Casino is bigger but Ocean Star has great prices in bulk drinks and has more in there than it appears. We went back and forth between the two.

I believe Ocean star is next to Good Morning cafe, which is just before Petite Casino, same side going in.

We have used shop n drop before, but I am arriving 3 days before my wife for the sole purpose of preparation. It would seem silly, but I'd love to know where she buys it from. She had two cases waiting for us on our last trip. It really doesn't get any better than that!

Didn't want to ask her to give away any trade secrets. :-) Knowing where to find all the products is what makes her so valuable.

Just add that extra item to your Shop n Drop list and have Jeannie deliver it. Well worth the price for the extra convenience!

I would order from Jeannie, 2 cases and whatever else.
Your prep time could be spent on dinner and / or excursion reservations, fresh flowers for wife's arrival and checking out some stores on the way to fave beaches - ie there is a small grocery in Hope Estate, just in front of what looks to be a new BMW dealership. Bacchus in Hope Estate has some nice foods and maybe some wine shopping
All that sounds more fun than chasing down and carrying home 2 heavy cases of beer!
Regardless have fun

We have requested Mich Ultra from Jeanie and sometimes she can find it, sometimes not. Last trip in March it was scarce in Simpson Bay. Had previously found it at the grocer next to Burger King in Simpson Bay and found one bottle by accident at the Peli Deli. Good luck but I think it is really up to when the containers come in. If you can find that one bottle, carefully soak off the label and affix it to a coors light and repeat...Ha

Hi Guys,
I don't mind answering the question... I don't have any trade secreats lol...
My service is a service of convinience for those who do not like shopping or want to be able to enjoy their vacation wihout the hassel of shopping... I am here to assit you so you can enjoy your vacation trouble free...
But others like to shop and that is ok ... so michel lobe ultra is a beer not often available ... The supplier is CC1 but they distribute to all the supermakets and I buy directly from them when they have it... How ever they do not have it all the time it is hit and miss...
Right now they do have it but stocks are very limited
