Looking for feedback from anyone who has stayed at Rhymers or another place right in Cane Garden Bay. We have 1 night between giving our boat back and flying out and were thinking we might just hang out in Cane Garden. We are on a budget so nothing too expensive. I did see that Sebastian's on the Beach is just a little over $100 a night. Has anyone walked back and forth to Cane Garden from there?

But they did not live to tell about it. Seriously - that is not walkable unless you are an Olympic athlete. It is only a few miles - but those are tough miles!

Walker is VERY right <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Laugh.gif" alt="" />
If you want CGB, stay at Rhymers - very basic but I always enjoy it and they have the best breakfast on the beach! And you can't beat the view!

I have walked that before as I drove the wrong way to the music fest, I would not recommended it at all.

Rhymers is good for a night or two. They may not give you an advance reservation for only 1 night depending, on season. If you are lucky you'll get the "Honeymoon is over Suite" <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Yikes.gif" alt="" />

BTW..I think you'd find that Sebastian's deal is for a " garden room" behind the road and the check in..not beach front. You might also check with Rose at Columbus Sunset in CGB..nice, clean reasonable rooms..

You might also check with Sandra at Mongoose apartments. They are down a short lane from the beach but it's very walkable and they are very nice units.
What are your dates? We don't normally do single nights, but if we happen to have a unit open we do make exceptions. We are across the street from Myett's.

Since you mentioned you are on a budget, have you figured out taxi fares vs car rental? I'll give you the short course: If you are going to be in a taxi 2x in a 24 hour period, it's cheaper to rent.
