Wednesday started out clear and sunny, but by noon time, the sky grew overcast and stayed that way for the rest of the day.

Tonight’s dinner was at Pasanggrahan. We hadn’t been there in quite some time. It turned out to be a pleasant evening and good dinner.
Thursday was our last beech day and for the most part it was a good day. Our traditional last night dinner meal has been Mario’s Bistro and it did not disappoint. The service and food here is always top notch.

Friday morning we checked out and headed over to Thrifty to drop off the car. Well evidently someone had slightly scrapped and dented the front of the car, I never even noticed it, but they picked up on it right away.. Filed a report saying that we did not know what happened and that was that.

Our plane was supposed to take off at 2:10 (to Newark), but due to the bad weather back home, the plane was late and we didn’t leave until 3:10. The pilot made up for lost time and we hit the gate around 7:00PM. Customs was a bit crowed and it took awhile to clear and get our bags. Car service was a little bit late getting here, again due to the weather, but we were in our home by 10:00PM.

Overall it was a great trip. You really couldn’t ask for better weather, there was hardly any rain, even at night.

The Divi resort is in very good shape and looks good. I just wish they would take care of the beech a little better. The chairs and umbrellas are just strewn all over the place every morning. The Fitness Center has some new equipment and everything actually works. WiFi is vastly improved and really the only place that is was choppy was in the Fitness Center. The staff are always friendly and go out of their way for you.

That’s it, till next time, back to work tomorrow, Mike & Rose...

Thanks for the report! We haven't been to Mario's at the new location. He used to always close for vacation in June. Anyone know if he's going to be closed for vacation in June this year?

Thanks for your reports. Good to hear about the new equipment in the fitness center. My turn is 67 days away! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Joy.gif" alt="" />

Happily, will be there in 6 days !
The grounds at Divi Little Bay are very nicely
kept. Great view of Philipsburg and the cruise ships
coming and going. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/circle.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/circle.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/circle.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/circle.gif" alt="" />

I totally agree with you about the beach at Divi. The week we were there we spent only one day on it---the day we talked to you. Love your tan by the way.

One thing I forget to mention about the beach, is that you can walk the entire beech from the Seabreeze Pool all the way past Belair and down to where they excavated for the Barbizon Project, with no rocks/boulders to block your way. I don’t recall ever being able to do this, without the rocks in the way.
In reference to the Barbizon Project that never materialized, this is where the ‘Pearl of China’ monstrosity is now supposed to be built. During my time here, I saw no activity going on. Maybe this won’t happen either. There are two homes right above this area, I would think that they are not happy about having their ocean view encumbered.
