Just noticed that we're going to be around for the FMP on June 9. We have potential crew who were coincidentally thinking of flying in to EIS to join us for a few days. Our intention was to pick them up at the airport then motor over to Marina Cay for the night.

Will the FMP in June get enough attendance to alter that plan? Should we go earlier to get a ball at Marina Cay and either dinghy over to get them or is there a ferry they can catch? Seems like a rough dinghy ride for people with full luggage and just off the plane.

Any thoughts for how to make that work and maybe catch the party? It wasn't our intention to go but, well, if in Rome ... smile

June is not so off season. There will be a lot of boats out with families. The Marina Cay/Scrub Island ferry runs pretty frequently. You'll need to call for their June schedule. Certainly beats a wet dinghy ride.

We have reserved a slip at Scrub for that night. Free water taxi running to Trellis until 11:30 that night. Cant wait for the FMP <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/circle.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/toast.gif" alt="" />

I'd like to be a jelly fish, cause jelly fish don't pay rent.

How about July? Would that be considered off-season?

The slip sounds great but I don't think we were looking to do that for that night. Does Marina Cay have a ferry to Trellis?
