Went last night to Melange. This new restaurant is absolutely a must do. So much fun...so much good food. Price fixe all you can eat. Choice of appetizer, and choice of two salads. Then they bring you a hot grill, placed into the table, with skewers of bbq ribs (which were like no other), pork kabobs, chicken, fish, shrimp, and steak kabobs. If you want more, they bring it!!!! Food and service were both FANTASTIC. No one will leave Melange hungry!!! Totally different concept than any other place on the island. Don't miss it.
Melange is located at Port DePliance (sp), at the Princess Casino. Plenty of parking.

Sounds interesting, but I think would be more fun with a group?? And the food is already cooked when they bring it, or it is cooked at the table?

Doesn't say anything about all you can eat as OP stated. Looks like you pick something out of each category and that's it. Menu looks interesting. Might give it a try.

Well, that really wasn't my question. It can be cooked to order, and not be cooked at the TABLE. At The Stone, you cook your own meats to your desired doneness, on the stone at the table. Was wondering whether that was the case here or not. Reading the webpage more, it appears you cook it yourself at your table.
And the webpage also says "For one set price you dine to your hearts content. You will be continuously served our sumptuous skewers accompanied with your choice of appetizer, salad and side dish" So it is all you can eat, which in itself isn't that exciting to me, as I don't eat that much at one setting any more, but the concept does sound fun.

Server says.... Meats are 3/4 cooked in kitchen and finished by diner at table. Large amount of meat on skewers with 1st serving. Patron can request more if still hungry...highly unlikely.

exactly...mostly cooked.....maybe five minutes more on the grille. the ''seconds'' were just as much on them as the first. would be fun with a crowd....but just as much fun for two. It really was a blast! price was 39 bucks per person.....very reasonable considering what you get!!!

I see that now. I only looked at the kink to the menu and not the rest of the web page. I wonder if you can select more than one grilled kabob or if you are only allowed one choice per diner.

Wonder how they feel about "kitty bags" for leftovers? ((Our house doesn't call them doggy bags, lol!))
I'm usually not able to finish a big meal and enjoy savoring again at the condo. But with the ability to keep it coming they may not appreciate that ones second skewer is largely unfinished.
I've been waiting to hear news on this place for years! The remodel pics had caught my attention...was it Norm that had posted?
