So who is heading down in June?

We arrive STT on 6/10 and head to Nanny Cay. Horizon "Fly Away" is our home for 8 nights. Lagoon 440.

Plan to do the Counterclockwise trip this time. Have some newbies with us so we are going to do all the usual spots. Can't wait to show them the Bubbly Pool.

Anyone else going to be there that week?

We sleep aboard June 6th and then head out Wednesday morning. FMP on the 9th is our only scheduled event. We will be in a slip at Scrub that night. Norman, Cooper, Leverick, JVD, CGB are all on the to do list, but only time will tell. We will be on a Lagoon 400 out of TMM. Look for the Oklahoma St. Cowboys. Ready to share a beer with all the people who have shared their knowledge on this site.

I'd like to be a jelly fish, cause jelly fish don't pay rent.

We don't get down until June 24th so it sounds like we are going to miss you.

Can someone comment if the Bubbly Pool can be expected to be at all active in late June? I was under the impression that with the typical southeast winds it would be dead.

We were down last June and the Bubble Pool was very calm. It is one of those places we love to visit when ever we're down

Hey ScurvyD, looks like we may be in the area around the same time. We will hail ya on the VHF and say hello. Will call for ScurvyD and I'll be RedBeard. Not sure if I'll be growing one this trip or not. YUT

Coming down May 16 thru June 26. On moorings 433 PC, big Texas A&M flag flying. Give a shout. We have been coming this time of year for about 13, and have never seen the bubbly pool active. Glad the are photos.

TIMRIM, will shout for ya for sure. Too bad about the Bubbly Pool not being active at that time of year. Is it worth the stop then? Always fun at Foxy's though. We will be on a Lagoon 440 "Fly Away".

We are down June 20-July 1 on a Lagoon 450 named Sevin Winds. We are starting and ending our charter in Fajardo but intend on making it all the way to Anegada and back and spending at least half the days in the BVIs. It will be my wife and I, my 15 y/o son, and his three friends. We will probably be doing a lot of kiteboarding if the wind cooperates.

Sounds like a good trip. How many days is your charter?
I would recommend a minimum of two weeks, three would be much better.

Only 11 nights on the boat. We've done the same trip before on a 10 night charter and it was a bit of a whirlwind but still fun. We don't intend on spending much time in the SVI and USVI - probably just one or two nights in each direction and maybe even skip the USVI altogether. Of course conditions might dictate otherwise. We wanted to charter out of the BVIs but the SJU>EIS flight was a killer and the boat was also cheaper out of Puerto Rico. It'll be an adventure.

This year we are down Wed June 7- Sunday June 18 on Afloat from Capt's Compass. About 3 years ago we were on Fly Away from Horizon and loved it. Horizon is excellent and love Nanny Cay for starting and ending.

We are on Fly Away starting on the 10th. Was she in nice shape? I was a bit leery about a 2009 but I know the owner is meticulous. Did Horizon keep her up?
