While staying at Leverick, we are taking an excursion to see the Baths. A driver will pick us up, take us to the Baths, and then happy hour at Hog Heaven on the way back. Question is, what time would you head out from Leverick in order to get back for dinner around 7ish? Thanks in advance for your experience and knowledge.
I'd like to be a jelly fish, cause jelly fish don't pay rent.

Hmm, I might say a minimum of two hours for the Baths, maybe more. It takes us longer because we do more than just hike through the Baths to Devils Bay and then back. We hike down the trail to the left and go to Stony Bay, then hike to Devils Bay and snorkel, then got through the Baths and up the main trail to the top and hit Mad Dogs for a beer and a great BLT from Edith. You may want to consider renting a vehicle rather than taking a cab. It is only about eight miles from Leverick to the Baths, but the posted speed limit island wide is only 25mph. And the only person I have ever seen doing the speed limit is me. If you do rent, keep your eye out for speed bumps and that dip in the road after you come down off Gorda Peak and start approaching civilization again. If I remember correctly the rental car company supplies you with a road map so you can find your way to the Baths, the Coppermine, Nail Bay resort and then on to Hog Heaven. Whatever you do you will have a great time and enjoy every minute of it.

Don't forget to bring the NP document with you so you don't get charged to enter the Baths.
Life involves risks, take some prudent ones (NOT with the BVI ferries)!

Be at the baths about 2, the dayboats and cruiseship people are going about then. The charter boats will also soon disappear, by 330 the place is deserted.

Agree with Car rental from Leverick. We did this today as some in our group had never been to the Baths. We ate lunch at Hog Heaven and then toured the island (Coppermine) before the Baths. Probably spent 2-3 hrs there (no snorkel). Left Leverick 11:30 and back here before 6. Cruise ship group was leaving Baths when we got there which was about 330.

Nick can organize a car/truck rental for you and that is definitely the way to go. Our gang led by Chris Curran always does this and what a fun day it is!
