Whoo Hoo.......We just booked on Delta for a trip in late April. $425.00 r/t each from Portland, Maine. We had actually given up on coming down this year (its been 3 years since we've been) but just couldn't pass this up. Yes the prices are great right now, we usually fly out of Portland as well but decided to take the bus to Boston this year because they offer a direct flight, we hate switching planes in New York especially on the way home. Have a great time!

Thanks Jasperben. We went back and forth. Not crazy about NY airports either but I guess it's a trade-off.
Sugarae. 2 degrees out here in Bridgton. We arrive on island April 18th. Can't wait to walk Orient Beach in the early morning hours. These next weeks are going to drag by.....

We will be on the island this Tuesday and can't wait. Spent Friday night in NY City freezing our buns off and repeated several times only 4 more days, only 4 more days.

Most say Tues. afternoon around 2;30. but nowdays it is just hit and miss.

We actually signed up on a fare watcher site and just waited until something came through. You have to be ready to pull the trigger though as a lot of the fares are only valid for very short periods.

I just keep checking and follow the trends then pull the trigger.
