Finally, after how long? New restaurant at the old Ric's, Bonita's called Mustique or Mystic. Not open yet. Sign is up. Hopefully it will be good

Wow, yes, long time! Any idea what kind of food it's going to be?

Not as great a location since they've lost a lot of parking. Plenty of room inside and a nice view out the back. Will certainly be interested in checking the place out.

If I remember correctly they built a small hotel/guest house right beside it...

Thanks. I will check it out in 2 weeks. Seems I do remember some type of construction going on there last year but I did not pay close attention.

Not sure if it's a restaurant or just a bar. We'll let you all know once we see it open.

Not sure what y'all mean by no parking. There are still the same parking spaces as always.

Noticed last night that they changed the sign to "restaurant" rather than "lounge". Maybe they've been watching TTOL???? One would hope

There are tables on the Lagoon side and also inside where the bar is. It said Mystic Lounge on the Lagoon side this morning.

I would guess they get quite a lot of visitors from Gentlemen's Club upstairs <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/duh.gif" alt="" />

Sounds like it's open then.

I don't know whether they do get many clients from upstairs. That place was there when Ric's was there, and I don't really think the clientele over lapped too much. I'm assuming, without knowing, the place upstairs is more a late night place.

It was definitely a late night place with many of the ladies living in rooms across the street.

Not open yet. I think they may have had a "soft" opening since it looked somewhat open the other day. Not sure what the other poster meant by "lagoon side" in reference to the sign. The sign on the street was definitely changed from "lounge" to "restaurant:

Carol, was that a pun "clientele over lapped" when referring to the Gentlemen's club!!!??? <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Rofl.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Rofl.gif" alt="" />

Where Ric's used to be, right by the bridge, was Bonita's for a while. Been empty since then, I think. There used to be a 'gentleman's club' upstairs from there. I assume it's still there..

Not sure if anything is open yet or not but there is some activity and you could see some furnishings inside when driving by.

They still have 10 or so parking spaces but another building did go up on close proximity.

Yes I stopped by today. Open for lunch and dinner. Onika was going to call me with the time for HH once she confirms with Christine.

It's a limited menu. Looked at it quickly but saw Mahi, Mahi $22 other items starting at $18 seems very reasonable but Onika never got back to me regarding HH.
