Another amazing trip to paradise . . . travel went very smoothly, even being ferried from Tortola to VG was well organized.

Highlights were our first nights’ dinner at Leverick Bay . . . excellent meal.
Lunch at Bitter End and Saba Rock were fun excursions.
The lunch buffet at Little Dix was as yummy as we remembered.

We rented a boat from Mike at Leverick Bay Water Sports with a captain (Christine). I’m so glad we did this . . . Christine was fun and informative and she brought us to Monkey Point and the Caves for snorkeling, which blew us away! The snorkeling from shore was not great this year because of the swells so I’m glad we had these two great swims . . . even saw a spotted eel!

We visited Foxy’s for a snack and drink then swam in to Soggy Dollar and Gertrudes for more drinks and lunch. If you’re land based, I would highly recommend hiring a boat from Mike and Christine to Captain to explore the area.

Visited the Baths a couple times . . . stopped at Mad Dogs for libations and a new hat. Lunch at Top of the Baths was fun and Friday we hit happy hour with Morris Mark .

Did some shelling at Nail Bay and tried snorkeling at Mount Trunk . . . was okay but hard with the swells/surf . . . retreating to my chaise for a Caribe seemed like a better idea!

Our villa, Dos Sols in Leverick Bay was great . . . beautiful views, well appointed kitchen and good movie selection for the kids at night. The pool was also well utilized by the water rats, I mean, my kids!

It was fun to be within walking distance of Leverick Bay Resort . . . we went to the Jumbies and down for happy hour several times . . . ran into Nick and Monica on one visit and found them as warm and gregarious as everyone says!

8 days went by way to fast . . . we can’t wait to be back!
