Greetings...it's been a while. I wish I was asking for myself but this is for a friend and I searched but can't find any info. Can someone give me names of private water taxis for a ride for -6- from St. Thomas to Tortola?

We used Foxy's Charters. They were great to work with, right on time both going and coming back. I don't know that I would do it again, the ferry seemed just as easy. www.foxyscharters.com

We've used Dohm's water taxi several times. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Cheers.gif" alt="" />

I've used both Dolphin Water Taxi (they have private trips too, https://www.dolphinshuttle.com/) and Platinum Yacht Charters ( http://platinumyachtchartersbvi.com/). Dolphin is much cheaper, but PYC is really travelling in style. Dolphin operates smaller power cats with outboards (usually just one) and its a pretty barebones trip, PYC was on an Azimut 55 and was top quality with beer, wine and a hostess, but you pay for it.

Contact Ocean Dreams, he got his last boat from the NOLA area!!!http://www.oceandreamswatertaxi.com/
Also, be aware that several companies can no longer take you to anyplace other than West End/Soper's. I know that Ocean Dreams can go to any base on Tortola and beyond!
