Spent another weekend at Apollo. We arrived at lot 5 around noon on Saturday and were lucky enough to snag a parking spot. Saturday was beautiful and as crowded as I have ever seen it (although this is only the third weekend we have spent there). I would estimate 50 to 60 people at the peak. We stayed at the Aloha motel again and really enjoyed it, the manager (owner?) is very friendly and accommodating. Sunday we missed out on the parking and I had to drop my wife off at lot 5 and park at lot 4. Sunday was less crowded, probably due to mothers day. Hope to get back there soon!

The walk is about 2 miles. I always bring a bike with us now, makes it much easier. Although, anytime I have had to walk someone has stopped to give me a ride within a few minutes.

The Aloha is very close to the National Seashore entrance, no more than a mile, maybe less.

The last two times we have been we ate at JB's fishcamp simply because we could walk there. Next time we are going to try some new places. JB's is what it is, nothing special but not horrible. Bagel world, north on A1A quite a bit, is great for breakfast.
