I can't imagine living on island and putting up with this cr*p all the time..

I was at the airport when that happened and the power was off there for about an hour. Our plane had to wait because people couldn't get thru the new automated passport control and security. Plus the toilets wouldn't flush in the bathrooms speaking of cr*p.

I would think they do but it is probably maintained by GEBE and it was off line for routine maintenance. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/duh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" />.

We have been to SXM four times, we have wondered everytime where all that money from taxes paid by tourists goes! The infrastructure on the island is awful. An international airport not having a backup generator, that is just unacceptable. I wonder whose pocket all those tax dollars are going into!
