The system probably timed out. Best to do the report in a word type document and then cut and paste in to the board.

Hi. Sorry, sounds like the system timed out on you <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/sorry.gif" alt="" />

The way to post a trip report here is to compose offline in word, etc., and copy and paste here. You MIGHT be able to hit your BACK button a few times and retrieve it and copy and paste it.

ok so I typed it out on a word document. saved it. Copied it...and then went back to ttol,,,went to where I would normally type,,,like this,,,and there was no way "paste" would highlight so I could paste it. I know I am prob missing a step or doing something wrong....any ideas?

It's pretty simple. Use 'control c' or whatever you use to copy text in your word processing program. Open a new post. Go to the box where you normally type text and hit 'control v'.
