Yes, I've been going through withdrawal. Hope they get it fixed soon!

Wow, thanks for this link for two reasons
1) dozens of webcams around Carib, etc 2) when you find the club orient cam it has a picture from the perch showing a beach condition with so much sand that I have not scene in the last 8 years. The beach was huge as Bernie would say north of the perch cam

The beach must be even more narrow than our last visit in November. Is the water at the steps of the Perch?

I know they say that beach comes and goes, but this is the narrowest I've seen it. I saw that Club O has made more seating on the other side of the rope, between the 2 restaurants. And, the old volleyball court has been converted to more seating.
I'm going where the weather suits my clothes.

We were there on Thursday on a cruise stop. The high water and waves and wind had washed out the sand on three sides of tha flag pole and all the front concrete piers on the Perch Deck were hanging not touching the sand. The steps were not usable as was half the Perch Deck. When we left at 3:30 the flagpole was leaning. Bad situation.

They may need to bring boulders in like what they have in front of Papagayo and Pedros.

Just checked the cam, and the waves are breaking across the reef and coming straight towards the camera. Never seen that before.

Oh its rough down there. No chairs from Pedros to about half way down that end. Perch steps are sitting in mid air & roped off. White caps there and over at friars bay. Lots of seaweed today!! Last Monday & Tuesday great days then windy ever since. There was a salt & sand haze on Friday & Saturday over the hills. People thought it was fog. Nope. My glasses were coated. Not too much rain though. No snow!! Will try to do report.

Larry's Vacation cams is a site you can get live camera feeds around the world, you can select Caribbean then St Martin there you'll find Club O beach cam.

As the locals always say, "the beach comes and the beach goes". Nobody knows when it will come back and to what degree but unless something other than nature alters things, it will eventually be back.
