Anyone care to predict the quietest day on Anegada next week. We'll be visiting by boat and want to enjoy a couple of peaceful days.
Wow, can't believe I'm asking that question - times have changed!!
Tim
Thanks Tim

Usually the weekends are pretty quiet, just because most charters start then.

Planning to be there on a Sunday but this will be end of June so hopefully crowding will not be an issue any day of the week! T-6 months! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Groovin.gif" alt="" />

What a great question, and one that I never thought to ask, thanks for posting. Follow-on, we will be chartering May 25 - June 3 and I was contemplating heading to Anegada the first weekend we are down (weather permitting), which happens to be Memorial Day Weekend. Does the PR Navy invade Anegada for that weekend? I recall some folks mentioning there are anchorages where they seem to congregate during Memorial Day weekend, but can't recall which ones they were. Any advice on where to avoid? (as we love our PR neighbors, we just don't love their appreciation of music at 4am ) Cheers, EC
Q: What do you do all day when down island?...
A: I don't really know, but it takes all day to do it...

They motor over in mass on motor yachts No problem to anyone, just a lot of boats all at once.

Normally, Friday and Saturday. But not this coming Saturday - the Yacht Week will be here with 300+ people.

We had absolutely no problems with them, however they were a very large group and they played exceeding loud Spanish Music from their boats. Some of them had bright spotlights on their boats which they left on all night and effectively killed our night vision so stargazing was out of the equation. If you are there to party you can have a great time with them. If, like us, you are there for tranquility, you will, like us, avoid them in the future!
