I know I am late to the game to look at somewhat budget friendly ($3,500 max for the week) for 4 people on Virgin Gorda March 4-11. This is a special 50th Birthday trip, so I would very much like 2 bedrooms with A/C, a pool, and a view. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions. I am open to suggestions and very appreciative of any advice you can give me. I have been to VG on a day trip, but never had an opportunity to stay there.

I have looked at Dos Sols near Leverick Bay, and Island Spice in the Nail Bay area.
Has anyone state there or toured either villa?

Check out Guavaberry Spring Bay. They have a web page and lot's of photo's and some villa's right at Spring Bay. We have been staying there annually since '04 and love the properties and location. A short walk to the Bath's, only about a mile from Spanish Town. Great amenities, including a commisary, snorkle gear, laundry room. Check them out online, and you can call or email them for more info.

Happy New Year! Thanks so much for the reply, I will check them out, but I know they lack a swimming pool - teenage girls can be finicky

Some of the villa's have swimming pool's. They own or manage some 44 properties, and some do have pool's...but...my pool is called Spring Bay...lol

We just returned from Fischer's Cove - we stayed in a cottage - our kids were in the adjoining cottage. I think the whole place has had a makeover and couldn't be nicer. No swimming pool, but beautiful beach with lounge chairs and umbrellas right in your front yard. They have a full service restaurant, bar and a great lounge area. We were very impressed. We stayed at a Guavaberry villa last year and I liked Fisher's Cove better. Oh and did I mention - they are in close walking distance to Coco Maya and the Rock!

I would prefer nail bay, Mahoe or guavaberry...leverick is nice and a nice ride from gun creek to Saba for a meal but better beaches and snorkeling is at nail, Mahoe or guavaberry...

We have eaten at Fischers and found it to be lacking a breeze even though it is on the water.

Just another vote for guavaberry. I can't imagine teenagers not loving roaming spring bay beach and the adjacent beaches and rocks and pools. Had a wedding nearby and the young people had a blast. And so did us old folks.

That can be said about any location at sea level depending on conditions. Just sayin...

Yes, usually not much steady breeze at Fischer's Cove. Their beach faces west and the prevailing breezes are from the east. Also, no elevation, so no "hilltop" breezes that you get from most Guavaberry accomodations.

A little over budget - but we love Spyglass at Leverick Bay! 2 Bedrooms, gorgeous pool overlooking the North Sound - the view is amazing.

Also in Leverick Bay area is Euphoria. 3 bedrooms but has a two bedroom rate. Great pool and again the view is amazing!

Both are a quick walk to Leverick Bay for all of their amenities. And can't beat the upstairs restaurant there for a special memorable meal. Also the Friday night BBQ and Michael Beans for some fun.

Best of luck in planning!

Many thanks to all for your wonderful advice! I was able to secure accommodations that I think will be perfect for our needs. I so appreciate all of the great ideas, and can not wait to gain more knowledge for our upcoming trip!
