We are arriving by ferry from STT and heading for nanny cay. Is there any advantage to taking the West End Ferry over the Road Town one? Are C&I wait times shorter at the West end?
Thanks Tim

no predictable wait times are realistically possible - but I always suggest to take the 1st ferry you can get on - less traffic at C&I at Roadtown usually though with fewer vessels doing that run. happy New Year!

We always prefer West End over Road Town, especially if it's a weekend and you get a lot of locals coming back from shopping on St. Thomas.

I would say WE..you get off the boat earlier and its Nanny Cay is about halfway between RT and WE...that said, for the first time ever, we circled for about 45 mins at WE this last time while other boats cleared in..not fun after a long trip from Sonoma , Ca..but we are home now til April!

I take West End every chance I get. Road Town generally has a longer wait, especially on the "shopping days" as Chris mentioned.

West end normally has relatively few people getting off vs Road Town.
We had guests come through Road Town recently and it took over an hour to get through customs.
West end will save you the trip to Road Town, this should save even more time.
So I strongly recommend west end.
