Checking the Perch Webcam at 8:50 am CST, there is someone finally replacing (or stealing) the tattered Club O flag. Thank you !! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Clapping.gif" alt="" />

The way the wind has been blowing the past two weeks I'm surprised it lasted this long. Are daily winds over 20 MPH normal for this time of year?

Not sure about this time of year. We are usually there in August or October, and the winds are a steady 10 to 20 mph.

Yes, they are fondly known as the Christmas Winds.

Have visited this time of year for over 30 years. One day get sand blasted, the next dead calm. Another SXM mystery, like the beaches that come and go. It keeps things interesting.

It had been put up new around the second week in October when we were there. They don't last very long in that environment.
