And as an additional thought on Bill's suggestion, under the 'Frequently Asked Questions' header, Carol also posted a list of timeshare sites and while they're featured as rental sites, most of them also handle resales.

Good luck - reselling timeshares isn't the easiest thing to do unless you have an extremely special unit in a great property at a super time of year offered at a very good price ~ or else there's a very motivated buyer out there looking for exactly what you're trying to sell. You are absolutely correct with respect to selling a timeshare.
I do intend to sell one week in the future. Fortunately or unfortunately, my unit fits the criteria that you describe, corner unit,ocean view,etc.,but it will not be easy.
