My Annual SXM Lovers Get Together will be on Monday, February 6 - 4-6pm, again at the Iguana Bar(far end of Captain Olivers Restaurant). Snacks, Drink Specials. Come talk with others who share your passion for this Island. Please RSVP so I can give Captain Olivers an approximate count.

Norm It is a nice gesture you take the trouble to host a get together. We have enjoyed joining in the past. This winter our plans changed and we visit the 1st two wks of March so we will miss your event, to our regret However we will join in the party via long distance, doning our flips, mixing rum punches [receipe of 1,2,3,4 & maybe] and just to be different play a little island ska music At least we will be there in spirit

If you're planning to attend and haven't already RSVP'd, I'd appreciate your RSVP so I can give a fairly actuate count to Captain Olivers. Thanks.

Not sure that I understood that last message Pat but it seems that you and I are not watching this game very closely

Paula,
Sorry about being so ambiguous. Will you still be there from your January trip or will you be going again in March?
Football? Is that the funny shaped ball that you can't bounce too well? We don't recognize it as a legitimate sport in our household.......
We generally visit SXM at the times of year that offer lesser chances of bad weather for traveling. We lucked out in January but two Decembers ago we came home in a blizzard and the apprehension took much of the pleasure out of the last 4-5 days of the trip. April is my favorite time if year with November and early December my favorite follow-ups.

Betty and Norm, Nice photo of you Norm in the Daily Herald newspaper. We also had our photograph published on the same page. Great photo of you. Once again, thanks for a great reception and thanks to Maggi of Captain Oliver's for providing the bar area and snacks!
