well i'm still trying to kick this nasty cold, but surprisingly the appetite is still there. fortunately i marinaded these wings last night, as today the cold is kicking my a#@. made these many times before so although no sense of taste now, i can vouch that these wings are very tasty.

thai chicken wings

8 wings, separated into two parts at the joint (i save the tips for stock making)

1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tbsp garlic, chopped
1 tsp sugar
1 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp oyster sauce
2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 tbsp lime juice
1-2 tbsp chili garlic sauce
fresh cilantro to garnish

toss wings pieces in a bowl with marinade ingredients. stir well. marinade overnight. when ready to bake wings, preheat oven to 400 and bake for approximately 45mins, until they are golden brown.

for those who may not know what chili garlic sauce is, here's a link. i don't purchase mine through amazon, as it's accessible for much less locally.

I was thinking, that for those who avoid wings for various reasons, the same recipe ought to work for boneless skinless chicken breasts. I'll have to try it!

Good idea, but I'd cut the cooking time down or they'll be too dry.

Had to tell you that we had company over for dinner last night and I made these as an appetizer. Went over very well and very easy. Thanks for the recipe.
