Arrived Saturday. Drove up from Baltimore to PHL Friday afternoon and strayed at Hampton Inn. Nice accommodations with a Ruby Tuesday next door. Three weeks of parking included and shuttle to airport on time. Morning AA nonstop went smoothly. Louis from Automax met us with the car rental. Always reliable clean cars. We've been at the Towers since 1994. They have been upgrading every year. This is the first time 801 has been so cool that we had to turn down the a/c. Always wonderful here, and wonder what the future holds for the resort. Walked to Mullet beach yesterday. Calm and beautiful. 2 dogs and a beer at Rosie's were wonderful. We bring 2 folding beach chairs and clamp on umbrellas with us so we can sit close to the water away from crowds. Pack them in a wheeled case used to haul baseball bats and equipment. Today, Monday, is rainy, so will catch up with several months of Atlantic Magazine. Cheers.

Mullet is our favorite, but you are right, it's getting crowded on those big ship days. It is so beautiful on the calm days and eating at Rosie's is always good.

Yesterday was Sunday, only one ship in, but I suspect there were a lot of locals there, plus it's getting toward high season, so that's probably why it was pretty crowded. I don't find Mullet on the beach itself to get that many cruise ship folks, but the many excursion boats on big ship days can make it pretty crowded in the water. On a dead flat calm day, when there is no 'cliff' getting into the water, Mullet is just about perfect to me, regardless of how crowded!

We returned Tuesday from a 2 week stay. We found that on the days without ships, there were many empty lounge chairs. With ships, they were full and there were so many boats that the water was really crowded! It was crazy!!
We still go--- we love Mullet.

No crowds today. It's been raining all day. Our A/C off too. May need a jacket.

Me too...a little shopping, but that's enough! Sun dance now! Plenty of time to research dinner choice!
