Just dropping off some info that MIT will be making their yearly pilgrimage May 27-June 4. Stops will include Peter, BEYC / Leverick, Anegada, JVD, and Norman. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/jester.gif" alt="" />

They're always good for some entertainment.

I bet the SDB webcam will be entertaining while they're there.

Unfortunately we are chartering a cat for exactly this week because we were incorrectly informed MIT would be in the BVIs the previous week (this is our second time to the BVIs but first time on a cat). Can you tell more details about the MIT group? How many boats is usual? Is it very difficult to get mooring buoys? We would like to have a relatively quiet time and perhaps avoid them as much as possible - would it be a good idea to try to get to BEYC on the first day?

Thanks for comments and advice.

Peter

If you want quiet time....Go counter clockwise, avoid where they will be....Or just party with them.

We were there last year at the same time and ran into them a few times. They had about 25-30 boats. Great kids, very respectful. They starting partying around 2pm and we didn't hear them at all after 10pm. They were all gone by morning.
