Wow, skies don't look too good today on either the Maho or Club Orient webcam. Hope it brightens up for those of you lucky enough to be on island!

Can see south end of orient from our deck. Weather looks to be improving this am, 0930. Seas choppy, good breeze going. Packing up towels and cooler.
Beach has been improving too. 3 rows of chairs on good part of beach south of perch.
More of the area behind the fence plowed up and smoothed for chairs couple days ago.
Hoping for another good beach day.

Been a lot of rain this week, actually from what we've heard, for the last few weeks. Sun is out now at our location, but Ted went over to get breakfast at La Susiere and it was raining there! Go figure!
It is still very humid, but there is a light breeze, thank God!

Some heavy rain around 8:30a local time in Beacon Hill but didn't last long. Sun is out now

We've been on Orient 9 days now. It's rained every day.
We've been on the beach and in the water every single day. Had about as much sun as we could manage. (And I love the sun. )
Will end here. Terribly stricken with sand gravity.
