Fly out tonight and arrive STT Thursday.
It has been 18 months since we have been down and the DIF has been overwhelming!
Anyone else in paradise Thursday thru next Friday?

huxtah said: what does dif mean Dreaded Island Fever. There are a number of definitions that have appeared on this board, but you get the idea.

And I expect that asking for the definition of dif would make an interesting thread. I also expect the if in dif will always be island fever.

After a long day of flying, we are here!
We slept aboard Sweet Wheat and today our captain will join us and we will be off probably to Norman.
So far overnight showers and this morning a few clouds. Can't wait to see how this 4800 sails. She is huge!

It's a big 48 footer! It actually sails quite well. Needs a chute for downwind work but so do most cats. I just looked at the specs and pics on the new 4500. Looks like that is also going to be a great boat. If you see one at the dock sneak onboard and post a review. There may not be any there yet. G

George if I see one I will sneak a peek!
Today we headed clockwise for the first time. Went to White Bay today. Love Hendo's it's a winner. Motored over to Great Harbor. Dinner tonight at Foxy's, we haven't eaten at Foxys in a few years. Looking forward to a lot of dancing tonight!
This has been such a wonderful day. Sitting up front and watching the water as we made way to Jost. Standing in the surf with a cocktail and making friends with great people doing the same. Once we got to Great Harbor we got the noodles out and floated around for a good while. About ready to make a round of cocktails.
My girlfriends are getting beautiful. I'm thinking no make up, my sundress and flip flops and I'm good to go...
This is the most relaxed I've been in a long time.
