Survey: Do you tip the chair/umbrella guy on the Club O beach when you pay the rental fee?

Not every day but once or twice a week I give a $5, generally to a different beach guy each time.

We are there for two weeks and we usually tip $2 per day.

Put me in the cheap category, but when we stay there the umbrella is usually in place by the time we walk out and if I buy the passes I just hand them the coupon for that day. The only time I have tipped them so to speak is when Ive paid my 20 in euros vice dollars and the euro is worth 10 cents more. So if your cheap like me pay in dollars.

I guess I am in the cheap column, too. Generally, I only tip when some sort of service is provided directly for me. When we get to the beach, the chairs and umbrellas are all set up and a guy comes by well after I have taken up residence and asks for my ticket. I don't feel he has really done anything that would deserve a tip (I am not sure if it even the guy who set up the chairs and umbrellas).

I'm definitely not in the cheap column in this regard. These are trivial amounts of money to us spending thousands to be there. Give 'em a break, spread the happiness.

We sometimes give a couple of dollars to the guy sitting at the table all day at the parking lot. That's boring job.
