Heading over to Anguilla this morning on the public ferry in Marigot. We will take a taxi to Elodias, Shoal Bay East. Do we just ask the taxi to pick us back up at a certain time, to catch the ferry back to SXM, or are there taxis in the Shoal Bay East area near Elodias just waiting around for passengers who are heading back?

Your taxi driver will usually ask what time you would like to be picked up for return and will accept payment for the round trip when he returns you back to Blowing Point. Probably will be extremely quite, but a beautiful beach. Fares are from one zone to another. Should be about $52 total. You my want a mini tour of island and see the other beaches and some of the nicer resorts.
Enjoy

As the other poster replied, usually the taxi that takes you will pick you up. We have done this many times and never had a problem. Some ask for 1/2 payment and others just ask for full payment when you are back at the ferry terminal. Taxis are plentiful and waiting at the ferry terminal and the dispatcher will quote you the fare. If you want to incorporate a short tour that is between you and the driver.
