Sweltering in the departure lounge sauna at EIS. The government has turned the air conditioning off because it can't pay for the power. They don't have the sense to open the windows. It is September and hot as hell. Stupidness. They are going to expand the runway when they can't afford and don't have the sense to operate what they have.

7 million for a startup airline with no real business plan and they can't pay the power bill? 40.00 per passenger airport fee and they can't air condition the building? I am shocked! G

Walker, sorry you're suffering. But which part surprises you: that it's hot, that they can't pay the power bill, that they don't have the sense to open the windows or that they're wasting money on the airport? Same ole, same ole.
Can't tell you how many times I have been in that airport and almost all the windows were shut - for absolutely no reason! Absent a hurricane, there's no reason to shut them. It's a terrific design, but you can't fix stupid.

No sense in complaining, it is what it is and will always be what it is.
