We are looking to do some business with the store on a front street called Jewels by Love. Need to order the item ahead of time and they are asking for a deposit. Never heard of them before but they have been around for many years. So if any of you had any dealing with this outfit - please let me know your experience.

Honestly, you're asking for a specially made piece? If so, I would think any jeweler would want a deposit.

I wonder if he means are they trustworthy to send deposit & get the piece upon arrival maybe not knowing them?

Simple--send the deposit by credit card and if you don't get the piece, dispute the charge...
