... and it was UNBELIEVABLE. not sure when or how my love of lobster began, but as of recent (maybe a few years ago) i find myself having cravings for it. well, i stumbled upon some lobster tails from bahamas while out shopping the other day and although i'd never prepared it i figured it'd be relatively easy. it was very simple, hardest part being cutting the lobster tails lengthwise, which i had someone do for me. so here is the recipe i used. no photo because i wasn't sure how much i'd like the recipe, since it was my first attempt... a special dinner for christmas to say the least. http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Grilled-Rock-Lobster-Tails/Detail.aspx

Good for you being so adventurous!! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Clapping.gif" alt="" /> Gosh, when I was little my mother used to make 'rock lobster' and I never knew what it was but it was yummy!! I made boneless duck for me and one of my grandsons and it was FABULOUS! The duck was so tender you could have cut it with a fork. Fortunately, there's a little left over for me tonight!! Hmmmmm.... <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Thumbsup.gif" alt="" /> The rest of the family had prime rib w/bone on the grill. They were HUGE <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Yikes.gif" alt="" />.....2 1/2 inches thick.....(looked disgusting to this person who'd NEVER touch beef!) They looked like the Flintstones eating! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/jester.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/jester.gif" alt="" /> Holidays are for celebrating in special ways....food included! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Clapping.gif" alt="" />

Yeah, I agree.....they looked like overkill to me!! But, then again, I'm not a carnivore! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/jester.gif" alt="" />

Last night we cooked lobster on the grill using this recipe. It was so good, thank you for the recipe.
I have some leftover lobster and want to make a lobster pasta of some kind. Anyone have a good recipe?

I made lobster fettucine alfredo. I just used a basic alfredo recipe and added the lobster. It was soooooo good!

What I can't believe is that you had any leftovers! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Smile.gif" alt="" />

I know, we all stuffed ourselves and still had 2 whole tails. We started with 10 whole tails for 9 people. Most of the girls ate 1/2 of a tail, most of the guys ate 1 tail.

There's a whole lot of dirty references I could go into, but I won't. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" />

I was thinking the same thing. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Laugh.gif" alt="" />
If I can't be a good example, I'll just have to be a horrible warning.
