May, 2016 DFW to EIS First class $1,239. Oct., 2016 same route $2,080. That's just crazy!! As much as we like coming into EIS, guess we will have to come into STT which is 1/2 the price. I know this has been covered a million times but I'm 60 now and can't remember a thing. What is the best water taxi from STT to Tortola? Thanks all!

Dohm's Water Taxi service is great. I chose them after extensive research on service and pricing. They delivered, and I would use them again.

Or you can fly tourist class for probably half the price of first class straight into EIS avoid the ferry.
Seems you get to choose which is most unpleasant - (a) double the cost, or (b) the ferry vs. tourist class.
Life's short - sail more!

Catdancer-Thanks for your help Kirk - It's only 1st from DFW to SJU. Seaborn and Cape Air are about $600. RT It's about $400.00 less if booked separately but we have to recheck bags in San Juan! Might do that.

Using ITA Matrix I found 1st class flights from DFW to EIS for as low as $1,211 up to $1,439. That covers the whole month. I would look there for your dates.

Wow, River - thanks so much for that. I've never heard of ITA Matrix Interesting that the AA-Cape Air flights show up on that google search engine but the AA site doesn't show anything but code sharing with Seaborne A

No problem, I have been using it since I read about it here (from Matrix?) Are you going to be at the Catfight? If so, you owe me a beer!

If you Travel a couple of times a year, you can get the cape air commuter book for $400 round trip. (10 one way tickets at $200 each). I actually have some extra good for a year, feel free to PM me if interested.
We've never had a problem having the two flights separate. It just means getting your bags and checking back in.

I keep wondering if bookings are down, because of Zika and if fares will eventually drop. We can only hope.......

Just bought tickets from EWR (Newark) to STT for $275/rt in Oct Best prices in years. Delta going down AA coming back. EWR was much cheaper than JFK and parking is $4.75/day. All around good deal. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Clapping.gif" alt="" />

Seaborne's having a sale. Book by this Sunday, travel by Dec. 15 and tickets are available for about $100/each way to Beef Island. We paid more for the same tickets months ago!

I've been watching prices for flights next April, and they're hatefully expensive, and haven't dropped at all since posting.

With new computer options airlines shift capacity almost daily. If Zika shows up in decreased bookings the airlines will pull capacity to match demand almost overnight.

ITA also has an app called On The Fly that is really easy to use. I found $274 round trip DFW-STT last fall on Delta using OTF. Another cool app for watching airfares is Hopper. They actually search fare trends and will recommend when to purchase. Of course neither of these is as robust as ITA Matrix, but they're quick and easy to use.
