We are planning on going to Pinel this Friday, with a stop at Ma Dou Dou on the way. Anyone have an idea on what is up and running this time of year? Will be nice without the crowds. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Clapping.gif" alt="" />

We have visited Pinel right about this time of year. I forgot where I got the advice, but someone mentioned visiting on Sunday. Less crowded and more island residents visiting for a bit of Sunday rest & fun. Thoroughly enjoyed. We hiked the island (bring rugged hiking sandles) and had cocktails and a bite at Karibuni. (take a left at the dock and walk down the beach.). Had a great time and we will return in a about a month.

We were at Pinel last Thursday ( a week ago). It was perfect!! Definitely not too crowded and we almost felt like we had the beach to ourselves . It was one of our favorite days. We made sure to go there when we knew there wouldn't be any cruise ships In port.
