I didn't see the story online, but the French government is reminding people that you need a blue zone parking disc to park in most of downtown Marigot. The story also says that Dutch side car rental companies are supposed to provide the disc to their customers. Has anyone here gotten a disc from their car rental company?

Did not get one and I don't see anything on the car. We do have French tags. Not sure if that makes a difference. Thanks for the warning.

Cars from both sides are supposed to have them, if you park in that marked area. I wonder if they are even giving out tickets yet, as it's supposed to be something like a 15E fine, or the vehicle can be towed.

I did see a post from July in which someone said they did get a disc with their Triple A car rental.
