We have known the owner for many years and we have rented through her when she worked at another very popular rental site on the French side of island. Many nice offerings at a variety of prices. We've had good luck renting villas on the hill behind Orient beach. Martinier Villa from gobeach.com may be what you are looking for. PM if you have questions. Very private, secure etc. The breeze tends to keep mosquitoes at bay.
We have stayed at Caribbean Salt (on VRBO & Flipkey) and are staying again in November. 2 Bedroom, 2 bath, very nice, clean pool, across the street from Kakao.
