Just checked airfare on AA for Early December, and found a $380 RT fare from Detroit. Connect in MIA on the way down, CLT on the way back...

I just booked DTW to SXM in January for $356 RT. I still can't believe it! Thanks for the heads up!

That’s a great rate, Gomer. I put in some dates for June, 2017 and sure enough… $357 per person RT, DTW-SXM through CLT! If you are flexible with your dates AA has some really good rates right now out of Detroit. We don’t normally book that far out but with these low rates it’s really tempting.

I sure wish that was around a month ago. From W. Michigan it is always a tossup whether we have to go out of DTWW or ORD. I thought $505RT out of Chicago in January was a good rate. Congrats, enjoy!

I just booked for March for $562 RT through Charlotte. I have been looking every couple of days for a few months and it had not budged from $760 so I am happy. Thanks for the heads up.

Given a second chance we couldn’t pass these fares up… this morning’s fare was even cheaper than two days ago - $340 per person. Why not?... Even factoring in the re-booking fee if you had to change your schedule it would still be worth it!

I just booked ATL - SXM for $387 pp on AA departing 1/30/17 and returning 2/28/17. The best fare we have ever gotten to SXM! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Joy.gif" alt="" />

Fantastic! Glad so many of you were able to take advantage. I can't remember the last time I saw airfare that cheap from DTW. My wife said, "remember that great fare we got on Pan Am?" Was this a labor day weekend thing that is now over? I just checked my available dates in Dec/Feb/Apr from DTW and didn't find anything special.
